Maxwell's Birth Story {4/17/13}

I had the most amazing opportunity to be present at the birth of a good friends baby on Wednesday. I got to photograph the whole thing and it was probably one of my most favorite photo sessions to date. The power of a women bringing a life into this world is an incredible experience to behold. It was an honor to capture such sweet, precious, sacred moments that are all but a memory now. I'm grateful for a job that lets me provide those memories on film to be re-lived for years to come. The raw emotion is so powerful and the joy that comes when that baby is finally here and safe is beyond words....pictures are the only way to describe the emotion in the room. PURE JOY! And to witness that strength of a women who knows her body and can overcome that pain with NOTHING but her own deep breaths is truly AMAZING! Amber ROCKED that labor like a champ! Congrats Walunas Family....Little Maxwell is the most perfect...sweetest...handsomest little guy ever! Soo happy for you! And I may or may not have smelt my hands more than 20 times when I got home...they smelt just like a fresh new baby... LOVE!

And this wont be the last you see of Little Maxwell...there's big plans in the works for his next big photo shoot ;0) I can't WAIT!

Your investment

Retainer Fee: $55 - This is non-refundable and is in addition to your session fee. This fee is to secure your date and time and is due at the time of booking. (Mini sessions do not require this fee)

Single session: $225 - 1 person

Family session: $295 - 2-5 people ($10 per person extra)

Senior session: $275 - You receive 40 free wallets

Newborn Sessions: $350 - You receive 1-11x14 wall portrait of your choice from the session

Mini Sessions: $195 - 30 minute session up to 5 people, 10-15 images, session price is due at booking to secure your time slot.

* All session fees are due at the time of your session (or before) except mini sessions, which is due at the time of booking.

Each session consists of:

~1-2 hours with photographer (except mini session)
~travel up to 40 miles
~editing of images
~CD with between 30-40 fully edited images
~photographers print release so you may have your photos printed at any location, and have as many as you would like printed.

*For an extra fee, I can have the prints made for you if you would rather me take the time to do them.

My name is Bethany Davenport. I have been married for almost 12 years and have 4 children. Carson, Tanner, Brynsley, and Preston. They are my inspiration for taking pictures. They are the ones that inspired my love for photography. I love to take photos and have those sweet memories captured on film. There's nothing that warms my heart more than a little tiny newborn all curled up, or the sweet innocence of a toddler, or the excitement and joy of a learning child. I love to capture the moments between a parent and child and the love a family shares. One of my favorite types of photography is Senior Portraits. I love how each one is unique and beautiful in their own way. I am mainly a natural light, on-site photographer but I also have space for a studio set up. I can come to you or you can come to me.
